Our Competitor Program at City Strong Athletics is designed for individuals looking to take their training to the next level. Whether you’re aiming for the CrossFit Open, local throwdowns, or elite level competition, this program delivers high volume, skill-focused training built to elevate performance across all domains.

 

This program is for athletes who:

•  Are committed to mastering skills and building capacity
•  Have a foundation of CrossFit experience and solid movement mechanics

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Olympic Weightlifting
Weekly snatch and clean & jerk sessions.
Strength cycles (squats, pulls, overhead stability).
Positional drills and barbell cycling under fatigue.


Gymnastics Skill Work
Ring & bar muscle-ups, handstand walks, strict HSPU.
EMOMs and progressions tailored to advanced athletes.
Volume and density training to improve performance under fatigue.


Strongman & Odd Object Training
Sandbags, sleds, D-balls, yoke carries.
Core stability and grip work.
Power development through unconventional strength

Conditioning & Engine Building

Interval based intensity workouts.
Long aerobic sessions to build base capacity.
Mixed modal metcons to replicate competition demands.


Recovery & Competition Prep
Smart progressions and deload weeks built in.
Open/Quarterfinal prep phases.
Benchmark testing, pacing strategies, video review.

Friday:  5am - 7pm

Saturday & Sunday:  6am - 1pm
